“Specialty Bar Products has selected The Adopt Lean Group to coach their lean initiative in 2009. The Adopt Lean Group will develop a strategic plan that incorporates all of the initiatives and projects that Specialty Bar Products has identified as potential cost reductions. The tool of Value Stream Mapping will be used to transition from a “job shop” approach to a value stream oriented approach in order to increase the speed of material, information and cash flow through the organization. The lean initiative at Specialty Bar Products will be directly tied to the existing KPI system and “Doncasters Way” of operational excellence.”
